Game and customization preferences are generally stored locally on your device. For private online matches, some temporary match data may pass through the network services used by the app and is limited to what is necessary for match synchronization, security, and service reliability.
No method of transmission or storage is completely risk-free, but reasonable measures are taken to reduce unauthorized access to data processed by the app.
The private 1v1 mode lets you create a temporary invite link so that a friend can join your match. These links expire automatically after a limited period. Technical data exchanged for this mode may include the match code, a participant identifier, the ELO rating shown in the match, played moves, clock state, presence messages, and match status.

The app may rely on third-party services operated by Google and Apple, including Google Play and the App Store, for app distribution, payments, and subscription management. For private online matches, the app may also use Ably for real-time messaging and Vercel for backend hosting.
